Audi Robot

I created previsuals and this robot design for this Noam Murro-directed ad for Audi by THJNK AG. We started with classic japanese 50's tin toys, the brief being to modernise the form in line with the Audi A3.

This robot was designed predominantly using photoshop manipulation of images, starting with images of 50s tin toy robot and car elements. I liased with 3D animators at Framestore to ensure that the joints would function as the robot had to dance like Travolta.
